The addition of French yellow clay to the soap provides clarifying properties, as it helps to draw out toxins from the pores.

Directions:

Use either with a shaving brush or apply with hands
If using a brush, soak it in warm water for 30 seconds then soften the soap by putting a little warm water (say, a tablespoon’s worth) on the surface of the shaving soap and let it soak for 10 or 15 minutes then apply to skin and lather.
If applying directly with hands, scoop from the tin and rub between hands with a little water to create a lather. Apply to skin.
