Natural mosquito repellent, a safer way to keep bugs away! Creating your own repellent is as easy as mixing all the ingredients in a spray bottle and spritzing yourself before heading outside. Reapply frequently for best results.
You can tweak the oils used to create your own custom scent. Which oil you choose to use in your natural bug repellent is often just as simple as which smell you prefer.
The top 10 mosquito-repelling essential oils are:
- Eucalyptus
- Lavender
- Cinnamon
- Lemongrass
- Thyme
- Tea tree
- Rosemary

Due to higher levels of essential oils, be sure to patch test first.
Ingredients
30ml organic jojoba oil
20ml organic extra virgin olive oil
10ml organic coconut oil
6 drops lemongrass essential oil
6 drops organic lavender essential oil
6drops organic eucalyptus essential oil
Time to make: 10 minutes
You will need: 60ml glass spray bottle for your finished product
Method
1. Pour the jojoba, olive and coconut oils to the bottle
2. Add the essential oils
3. Shake well until all oils are properly combined
4. Apply sparingly to exposed limbs, patch test before use.
