Christmas Bath Melts
Creating bath melts that double as festive tree decorations is a delightful way to add a personal touch to the holiday season. These melts not only infuse your bath with the warm, inviting scents of cloves, cinnamon, and orange but also adorn your tree with a homemade charm.
Ingredients
55g Unrefined Organic Shea Butter
20g Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
25g Organic Cocoa Butter
10 drops of Orange Essential Oil
10 drops of Clove Essential Oil
10 drop of Cinnamon Essential Oil
Cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anis and fir twigs for decoration. You can also use dried orange slices or dried flowers.
Time to make: 20 minutes
You will need: heatproof glass jug, a silicone mould
Method
1. Add the butters and coconut oil to a heat proof jug and melt them over a double boiler on low heat.
2. Once melted stir in the essential oils a mix until all is well combined.
3. Pour the mixture into silicone mould.
4. Decorate each with bits of fir twigs, cloves & cinnamon sticks. You need to do this whilst the mixture is still liquid.
5. Let them cool and place them in the fridge to harden completely.
6. Pop them out of the moulds and enjoy!
7. Put them in a jar and store in cool dark place or make a hole on the top using a warmed up wire. Then pull a piece of twine through and use them as Christmas tree decorations.
