Lavender Hydrosol
In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to turn any plant into an infused hydrosol spray. You can use this technique to make your own green tea toner, lavender calming spray, or just as a way to preserve your favourite flowers as a fragrance or refresher spray!
Store it in the fridge, as it’s pure distilled water it should last a couple of months and doesn’t need any preservative. But do keep an eye on it and if you notice a change in colour or smell, discard immediately!

Ingredients
2 cups of dried lavender flowers
1 liter of water
Time to Make: Prep time: 5 minutes. Make time: 1-1.5 hours
You Will Need: heat proof bowl ,large pot with lid, 100ml glass spray bottle, ice cubes
Method
1. Add 1 liter of water into a pot
2. Put a heat proof bowl in the middle of it (make sure the water doesn't get into it)
3. Add a couple of cups of dried lavender flowers to the water around the glass bowl
4. Bring it to boil, lower the heat and place the inverted lid on top
5. Put ice cubes on top of it to help with condensation and leave your flowers to simmer
6. Regularly remove the melted ice from the top of the lid and replace with more ice cubes
7. After about an hour you will have collected your floral water in the bowl in the middle of the pot
8. Transfer the collected floral water into a spray bottle
