15g of Beeswax (or Candelilla Wax)
25g of Mango Butter
25g of Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
33g of White Kaolin Clay
15 drops of Organic Orange Essential Oil
10 drops of Organic Black Pepper Essential Oil
Time to Make: Prep time: 5 minutes. Make time: 20 minutes
You will need: heatproof glass jug, spatula for mixing, 60ml cardboard tube for your finished product
1. In a double boiler melt the wax, mango butter and coconut oil.
2. Add the kaolin clay and stir thoroughly until all is well combined.
Tip: You can also add 5g of magnesium hydroxide at this point. It helps to combat odour by neutralising odour-causing bacteria on skin's surface.
3. Add the essential oils and mix well (you may need to reheat it if it starts to solidify)
4. Pour the mixture into the tube and let it set in the fridge.
Wait 24 hours before using deodorant to give the beeswax enough time to cure completely.
Always patch test before use!
