The biggest benefit of using sheet masks is hydration! Sheet masks deliver a large amount of hydration and nutrition to your skin.
Like with every other beauty product, store bought sheet masks can be packed full of questionable and unpronounceable ingredients and the disposability of sheet masks is not good for the environment either, especially if it's a nearly daily staple in your skincare regimen. So why not make your own reusable sheet mask with a cloth. One you can use, rinse, wash and repeat!
Try this super simple DIY recipe and you will never go back, we promise.
1/2 tbsp of Aloe Vera Gel
1/2 tbsp of Organic Rose Water
1/4 tsp of Glycerin
1 drop of Organic Lavender Essential Oil
Pro Tip: Make sure your ingredients are cold or store your sheet mask liquid in the fridge for a few minutes.
Time to make: About 10 minutes.
You will need: a bowl, measuring spoons, muslin cloth or an old plain, un-dyed cotton handkerchief
1. Cut eye, mouth, and nose holes into the cloth.
2. In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients.
3. Soak your sheet mask in the bowl until it is totally saturated.
4. Apply the mask to your face, pressing it into every part of your skin.
5. Leave for 10-20 minutes while all that goodness soaks into your skin
Rinse, wash and repeat!
Pro Tip: Make sure you don't oversaturate your muslin cloth to avoid dripping, wasting product, and/or seeing your mask slide off your face.
