The Famous Golden Lotion Copycat
We tried to recreate THE famous Yay lotion. It isn't quite the same but it is close to the real thing. Whether you're keen to give it a go or rather buy the original lotion, head over to our website, we've got you covered. 💚
Ingredients
40ml of organic extra virgin olive oil
20g of beeswax
15g of organic unrefined shea butter
10ml of pomegranate seed oil
Time to make: 20 minutes
You will need: Saucepan and glass heatproof dish, 3x 30ml glass or tin containers for your finished product.
Method
1. Add all ingredients to a heatproof bowl
2. Heat them up over a pot of boiling water on a medium heat until all ingredients are melted
3. Transfer the lotion into glass jars and let it set at room temperature for a couple of hours
