Keen to try Zao makeup but not sure which sure which shade is right for your skin? We get that, it's hard to buy make-up online - ah one day we will fulfil the dream of a physical store - until then we're offering you testers so that you can try out Zao's foundation for a fraction of the price before committing to the full product.

All testers are £3.99 plus postage.

We do not hold stock of testers, they are ordered in in the same way as pre-order products. You can read more abut pre-orders here. We order our pre-order stock every Wednesday for shipping to customers on Thursday.

How does it work?

Please go through and place an order for the number of testers that you would like to try by selecting the shades you want to try.

Odd texture

I really wanted to like this as I am looking for a sustainable foundation but the texture was super weird, actually a little bit gritty and hard to use. The finish was actually quite nice and the colour match was good but I would definitely recommend getting a tester before buying a full sized product.

Delivery

All online orders placed by 13:00 (GMT) Monday to Friday will be shipped same day. Orders placed over the weekend will be shipped on Mondays.

Currently Acala uses different Royal Mail services to ship orders: Standard or Expedited for UK mainland and Standard or Tracked for overseas. For any queries about the delivery status of your order, delays or returns please contact hello@acalaonline.com. Acala is continuously striving to reduce it’s carbon footprint and as the business grows, and order sizes reach the amount needed to make the use of a green courier service viable, we will make the switch. When placing an order in currency other the GBP you can choose between a Tracked Standard courier service (up to 6 working days) or DHL Express Air (up to 2 working days) at the checkout. Please note the total amount you pay includes all applicable customs duties & taxes. We guarantee no additional charges on delivery.

Planet-friendly packaging: we wrap all orders by hand in our Suffolk based office using recycled paper, and card, held together with natural tape, made in the UK. You can also elect to receive your order in our reusable packaging service eliminating waste from your delivery. You will receive your Acala order in the most minimal packaging possible to keep your order safe in transit.

Our aim is that all our products reach you in perfect condition. If you're disappointed in any way we would like to know, so please make sure you contact us if this is the case.

As long as your product is unopened you can return your item within 14 days. Unfortunately, we aren't able to exchange items.
