1 Month, 1 goal: Go plastic free

Join us for #plasticfreejuly. A month of awareness where people are asked to make a change and stop using single-use plastic items.

Cutting single-use plastics can be surprisingly challenging but there are easy alternatives. This July we’ll be showing you that a plastic free lifestyle can be fun AND easy! As well as giving you the chance to win some of our favourite plastic free bathroom goodies to get you started!

Why go plastic free?

We use single-use plastics for just about everything, from cleaning our teeth (dental floss and toothbrushes) and showering, to buying and storing our food and other products. It is durable and lightweight, but it’s these properties that allow it to persist in the environment for hundreds to thousands of years.

Plastic Free July isn't all about living completely plastic-free - in this day and age that would be pretty near impossible, but it is about going single-use plastic free. And it’s about reducing your plastic footprint in all sorts of ways.

 Become an everyday activist

One of the biggest ways we can make a change and rid the world of unnecessary plastic is to get vocal with the businesses and brands we shop with. Voting with your wallet is one of the most impactful ways that we can beat plastic pollution.

See something that you think unnecessarily comes in plastic? Write to the brand or company and tell them about the change you would like to see. Throughout July we’ll be providing you with templates and advice on how to approach brands to really get their attention.
