A fantastic multi-tasker, Argan oil has been praised for centuries for its many benefits on the skin and hair. It helps to build flexible strength and restore shine and softness to dull, lifeless hair. It even protects against environmental damage thanks to the UV protectors (antioxidants, no SPF value) in argan oil.
With its soothing, conditioning and hydrating it can be used in its base form or added to many different skin and hair care recipes.
Produced from the kernels of the argan tree, it has been traditionally used for centuries as a treatment for skin conditions, including acne and eczema. Argan oil contains high levels of fatty acids, including linoleic acid which is anti-inflammatory making it soothing on the skin. It also contains oleic acid which will protect and condition skin, scalp, and hair, as well as restoring hydration.
It is rich in vitamins whose antioxidants compounds are shown to counteract the oxidation of the skin cells improving skin's appearance and strength.

- Comes to us in bulk in a HDPE plastic bottle. We are working on a refill programme with our supplier to allow us to sanitise and send back the bottles for re-use in our next order. If this is not achieved with this supplier we will look for another.
- Delivered to you in a glass bottle with aluminium lid.
- We are working on setting up pre-paid returns so that you can send your bottles back for sanitisation and refilling.
Delivery
All online orders placed by 13:00 (GMT) Monday to Friday will be shipped same day. Orders placed over the weekend will be shipped on Mondays.
Currently Acala uses different Royal Mail services to ship orders: Standard or Expedited for UK mainland and Standard or Tracked for overseas. When placing an order in currency other the GBP you can choose between a Tracked Standard courier service (up to 6 working days) or DHL Express Air (up to 2 working days) at the checkout. Please note the total amount you pay includes all applicable customs duties & taxes. We guarantee no additional charges on delivery.
Planet-friendly packaging: we wrap all orders by hand in our Suffolk based office using recycled paper, and card, held together with natural tape, made in the UK. You can also elect to receive your order in our reusable packaging service eliminating waste from your delivery. You will receive your Acala order in the most minimal packaging possible to keep your order safe in transit.
