This is an unrefined, natural Kokum Butter with all its nutritional goodness intact. Kokum butter is one of hardest vegetable butters known, but not as hard as cocoa butter. It is solid at room temperature, but melts quickly on contact with the skin.
Kokum Butter absorbs quickly on the skin and hair. In India it is a staple in soap making, thanks to its moisturising and skin repairing properties.
