Sustainability:

• Alaskan Omega fish oil is the only source of omega 3 fish oils to be awarded the eco label certification from the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).
• Fish are caught with selective mid-trawl nets in Alaska, meaning that there is an ultra low by-catch (fish that is not going to be used for oil) percentage that far exceeds industry standards.
• Wild Nutritions sustainable oils are processed from freshly-caught fish and refined by a family-run refinery where they go through a process of molecular distillation and cold extraction.
• A large percentage of the fish is turned into pure oil very soon after its been caught. Any fish that is not turned into oil on board the boat; will be frozen and processed within 12 hours to maintain freshness and purity.
